Description

The 150-600mm Sports is designed to deliver uncompromising image quality across its massive zoom range. Its optical construction features 25 elements in 15 groups, including four FLD (F Low Dispersion) and two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements to correct chromatic aberrations and ensure "Art-series" sharpness. The lens features a unique Dual Action Zoom, allowing you to zoom either by rotating the ring or by using a "straight-pull" push/pull technique for ultra-fast framing changes—perfect for following erratic wildlife. Reliability in the field is a core focus; the lens features a dust and splash-resistant structure and a water/oil-repellent front coating. It introduces a Zoom Torque switch, allowing users to set the zoom resistance to "Smooth" for easy movement, "Tight" to prevent lens creep, or "Lock" at 150mm for transport. The autofocus is driven by a high-precision stepping motor, and the Optical Stabilizer includes three modes: Mode 1 for general use, Mode 2 for panning, and a customizable mode. It also features three AFL buttons and an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod socket with a replaceable foot.
